Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de los Muertos) is a Mexican Holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the World in other Cultures. The Holiday focuses on gatherings of Family and Friends to Pray for and Remember Friends and Family Members who have died. It is particularly celebrated in Mexico, where it is a National Holiday.
In Acknowledgement of the Hispanic Heritage of my Precious G-Kid Force and Culture that their Paternal Relatives are from, we meld Traditional & Cultural Celebrations and Holidays The Man and I have always Celebrated growing up, with those that are also Representative of Hispanic Culture. My Parents did that for my Brother and I since we were a blend of Heritages and Races, so I want to continue that with our Children and Grandchildren that have Diversity of Cultural Heritage so they Celebrate all of who they are and the Ancestral Lineage they come from. It Enriches us as a Family and I've thoroughly Enjoyed incorporating New Traditions, Celebrations and Experiences into our Family's Holidays.
So, every year we attend the Dia de los Muertos Celebrations and pay Homage to our Dearly Departed Friends, Fur Babies and Relatives who are now on the other side of Time and Eternity. This Post is our Pilgrimage to the Wonderful Desert Botanical Gardens Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda Exhibition and Altar Displays. On Sunday, November 4th we will also attend the Festivities that will culminate with La Procesión or Procession. That Weekend will also offer many other Festivities, Speakers and Artists that incorporate Day Of The Dead Celebration Theme into a Memorable Experience for all... so if you've never been before, I encourage you to expand your Experiences and join us!
