It's not often we receive the Gift of more Time!
But this being Leap Year we will receive an extra Day... an additional 24 Hours of 2012 to spend any way we choose.
And how will you spend this rare Gift of more Time my Friends?
Or have you even thought about it until this question was posed?
What will you appreciate particularly on this Extra Day that only comes around once every four years... or perhaps take for granted just like any other Day?
What or Who will you take the Time to see and spend these Extra Hours around and with?
Take the Time to Cherish and Value because it or they are important enough to you to spend YOUR Time upon?
We all have a limited amount of Time you see so it is important how we choose to spend it! Who we choose to spend it with...
And certainly there are those who we wish we could be spending Time with.
The Man and I often lament on how much Time has been lost not being with Family that live far away... and it particularly grieves us to miss so much Time of the other G-Kids growing up!
And taking some comfort in and being ever so Grateful for not missing a Day of the two G-Kids we're raising growing up!
And proudly showing off the rest of the G-Kids in precious Photos we receive from afar. This is our Oldest Grand-Daughter, the Princess S. Who is now all grown up into a fine Young Woman, Married and gave us our first Great-Grandchild who was born on my Birthday in fact! My how Time flies...
What would you Dream of doing if you had no barriers, no limitations and Ideal options my Friends? What would you spend more Time upon... who would you waste no Time in being with in person?
The Older I get the less I take my Time or the Time of others for granted and realize what a precious and priceless Gift it truly is!
And to Thank the Lord for it... spending quality Time with Him as well so that our Relationship will continue to grow, be cultivated and flourish.
Because every Living thing has it's Time... even the most Ancient ones eventually run out of Time one way or another and cease to Live.
But the passing of that which was once Alive and whose Time has come isn't nearly as tragic as those who are very much Alive on this side of Time and Eternity but have ceased to truly Live!
The Living Dead... just going through the motions of each Day and yet not getting much, if anything, out of it... the Precious Gift that is their Time here on Earth!
Moments that cannot be recaptured once they have passed... wasted... squandered... not enjoyed... not really Living, just existing... and it's very, very sad.
You will never see the rest of the Animal Kingdom behaving in such a way. And any Time I am tempted to behave in such a way myself... because we all can have our dark moments... our unappreciative moments where we take Life for granted...
I intentionally spend extra Time around Nature and the Animal Kingdom so that I am reminded that each is Purposed and part of a Master Plan...
A Magnificent Plan that I stand in Awe of!!!
So as we near this Extra Day we have been given in 2012... the 29th of February... may you reflect upon what a rare Gift it is... receiving the Gift of more Time. And open the doors of your Heart, Mind and Spirit to all of the Possibilities and ways you can best spend it and be Thankful for it!
