You can't attend either event without a killer hat or fascinator.  And if you can't make it to the real Kentucky Derby there is a fun event in Farmington Hills called Derby In the Hills where you can wear one, watch the races, win awesome raffle prizes, drop the kids off in the kids area where they can bounce in the bounce house, make crafts and play games.
