Q-day 2011 Dutch Hello Kitty

<div style="text-align: justify;">Tomorrow it is Queensday here in Holland, so here are my new Q-day nails ;) This year I wanted something more subtle ;) But ofcourse all our national colors did had to be in it. Orange tips made with Essence 09 Get the fever. Self made and designed Hello Kitty decals, she is wearing a Dutch dress and bow with the colors of our flag and the colors fade a bit at the edges. Queensday nails from 2010 & 2009

<div style="text-align: justify;">On April 30th we celebrate Queensday here in Holland. And ofcourse I always make some matching nails. I will make my nails for this year tomorrow, but today I'll show my Q-day nails from last year and the year before that ;) Our national color is orange and the color of our flag are red, white and blue. I stamped some crowns with Konad SN red, SN white and SN blue imageplate M40. Stamped the orange crown with M40. My ring and index finger have an orange base color (don't remember which one I believe it was a color of L`oreal) the tips I stamped with Konad SN pastel orange and rainbow glitter. Brazil: Impala Rocket World Cup nails

<div style="text-align: justify;">I had Impala Rocket as a base nail polish on my nails during the World Cup soccer/football last summer. It was for the match Brazil - Holland. So I thought it would be nice to keep my nails in balance. Self made water decals of an orange lion with a football. And some stars stamped in the colors of our flag Konad SN red, white and blue with imageplate M3.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">They did bring good luck for Holland because we won the match ;)</div>

So I made my own water decals of those things.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">My country is well known for their cheese so I have a piece of cheese on my pinkie. On my ring finger I have a farmer girl in traditinal clothing on wooden shoes holding a mill. A lot of foreign people think that everyone in my country walks on wooden shoes (clogs) but it is just a part of the old fashioned traditional clothing, of course there are still people who walk on wooden shoes, but that is mostly in the country life. My country is also famous for their tulips, so I have wooden shoes and a red tulip on my middle finger. On my index finger I have a mill, that is also something that can't be missing. My thumb has a black and white cow on it. You can identify my country by these five things, they all have a connection. You often see them together on photo's or postcards. Then you see a scenery of tulips with cows, mills and farmer people on wooden shoes. And the milk from the cows is used to make cheese.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">On the tip of my nails I've stamped the colors of my coutry's flag. Konad SN blue, red and M44. The base is OPI Alpine Snow with a layer of P2 Divine.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">So this is my way to show you my country ;)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Can you tell by looking only at my nails that I'm from Holland?</div>
