In loving memory of the Swan ♥

<div style="text-align: justify;">At my boyfriends place his backyard lies at the water. A couple of months ago we saw a love couple of Swans and later they had 8 babies ♥ I am really an animal lover so I was really happy to see that and from our backyard I gave them something to eat every time I saw them swimming by. The last time I saw them daddy swan was alone with his 8 babies (they grew tremendously) we found that really weird but I thought mommy was behind some bushes or something....untill friday......I heard horrible news from my neighbor. Mommy swam was murdered, they threw a rock on her head and the animal rescue could not do anything anymore. HOW CAN THERE BE PEOPLE WHO DO SUCH A HORRIBLE THING!!!!!! People who do that deserve death. Animals are so defenseless, and Swans are such beautiful, gracefull animals.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I was really sad and I cried, they were my friends and I loved feeding them (they made me happy when I was feeling blue) now daddy is alone with his babies. Swans are monogamous and stay together they entire life, sometimes you hear that if one of them dies the other one dies too because his is lonely. I hope daddy finds strength to live also when his babies leave. I know he takes good care of them, because he was already alone the last time I fed them and still very protective. Green and Glitter nails + Liebster Blog award

Q-day 2011 Dutch Hello Kitty

<div style="text-align: justify;">Tomorrow it is Queensday here in Holland, so here are my new Q-day nails ;) This year I wanted something more subtle ;) But ofcourse all our national colors did had to be in it. Queensday nails from 2010 & 2009

<div style="text-align: justify;">On April 30th we celebrate Queensday here in Holland. And ofcourse I always make some matching nails. I will make my nails for this year tomorrow, but today I'll show my Q-day nails from last year and the year before that ;) Our national color is orange and the color of our flag are red, white and blue. Stamped the orange crown with M40. My ring and index finger have an orange base color (don't remember which one I believe it was a color of L`oreal) the tips I stamped with Konad SN pastel orange and rainbow glitter. Brazil: Impala Rocket World Cup nails

<div style="text-align: justify;">I had Impala Rocket as a base nail polish on my nails during the World Cup soccer/football last summer. It was for the match Brazil - Holland. So I thought it would be nice to keep my nails in balance. China Glaze DV8 with "sea theme" nail art

<div style="text-align: justify;">In my next blog you saw the swatches of this gorgeous polish, now let's show the nail art. I love the sea, beach, fishes, dolphins, seahorses...so every year I make a creation or two with this theme. A couple of them you have already seen in previous blogs. For this creation I was inspired by a creation from <a href="http://glammed-up-ainos2.blogspot.com/">Glammed Up</a> and I made this for the song Challenge on <a href="http://polishhoarderdisorder.blogspot.com/2010/08/challenge-gallery-song-inspiration.html">Polish Hoarder Disorder</a>. I didn't had a blog back then. The base is China Glaze DV8 and I used a lot for the nail art. On my ring finger a self made decal of a turtle with some big green glitter on top of it. Purple and Pink Christmas nails

Winter Wonderland

<div style="text-align: justify;">It's not yet winter but my autumn nails made me feel sad, so I decided to make some winter nails. Snow makes me much happier, but we don't often have snow here in Holland.
