Okay, so I've kept you in Suspense long enough as to what my Memorial Day 'Scores' were...  And though the Budget was lean, Favor was on my side and I still 'Scored' the most awesome Treasures! First, I met a new Dealer named Gina... and as I let her into her locked Case we began to discuss her fabulous Collection of Vintage Bohemian Earrings that had belonged to her Grandmother.

Each Set was absolutely breathtaking and ignited my Gypsy Passion for da Bling!  *Winks*

Set #1...

A Close-Up of Set #1's Over-The-Top-Bohemian Beauty...

Set #2...

I was already envisioning these made into Bohemian Treasures Jewelry Creations of Necklaces and Cuff Bracelet Accents!!!  Preserving them in their entirety and yet making them into something other than Clip-on Earrings.

Set #3...

By now Gina was catching my Vision for her Gramma's Treasures being turned into New wearable Upcycled Art Creations and being Inspired...

Set #4...

I was beginning to think that the same Artist had Created these exquisite Earring sets since there was definitely cohesiveness to the Collection??!!!   Honestly, there was no Favorite, I adored them ALL... and though I hadn't intended to make a Purchase or make an Offer, knowing my budget limitations, Gina totally shocked me by offering them to me at a deep discount of 50% off the price she was asking... as a bundle I agreed to take them all and Cherish them!  Thank You so much Gina!  I think that a Necklace Creation made from one of them would be a nice Thank You Gift once they have been Transformed... so I Hope she likes what I will eventually do with them?

But in the meantime, since I have so many unfinished Projects still awaiting completion *Le Sigh... I'm sure many other Artists can relate to this predicament*... they needed to be Displayed and Admired in their current original splendor...

And so I set about arranging and photographing them for this Blog Post...

Because they are just so Beautiful they really need to be Showcased...

I just LOVE Bohemian Bling... there's nothing quite like it...

Well.. except for also 'Scoring' a Large Vintage Hat Box from Paris for a mere $8 that is!!!  Yep, EIGHT BUCKS, I was totally Jazzed at how well the Negotiation went... I asked the Dealer what his best price was and was thrilled at his response... no haggling necessary, it was already a great Deal offered to me!  And the incredible Custom Hat Gift that my Talented Blog Friend Tricia Created for Princess T and I will fit nicely in here when it needs to be carefully Stored and protected!

And speaking of Storage... the same Dealer... well, I also got this great Vintage Samsonite Travel Case from him for only $6... yep, SIX BUCKS!

It is most definitely Luggage Love... and without spending a Fortune... which is fortuitous since I only had a small Budget to work with and didn't expect to receive so much Favor!

But wait... not finished... I also 'Scored' this Velvet lined Vintage Jewelry Box for a mere $2.99!!! Less than Three Bucks how can you go wrong?!  BTW: That's a reflection in the Jewelry Box Mirror of my Joe Boxer Smiley Face Jammie Bottoms! *LOL*  I would prefer not to wear Jammies at all... hate em... but with kids in the house you know how it is... don't wanna be buying the G-Kids Couch Time for the trauma of walking in on Gramma asleep in the altogether?! *Smiles*  And Mom would be relieved, she was always concerned about me sleeping in the buff lest the house burn down and I had to run outside nekid... *LMAO*   Seriously, if the house was on fire I hardly doubt that my wardrobe or lack thereof is going to be high on my list of concerns... *Smiles*  But I digress...

I had initially intended to Sell this Jewelry Box in my Booth... but remember all those Vintage Bohemian Earrings that The Man found wedged behind the Lockers in his Storage Outbuilding?  Well... I needed a compartmentalized Storage piece for some of them...

And this fit the bill perfectly and so I hadda keep it didn't I?! {Though after carefully arranging those on the outer layer of the hinged lid I suddenly realized that is NOT part of the Storage... Ooops!  LOL}

But there is a Storage Drawer too... and I got about half of the 112 Discovered Bohemian Earring Sets into this... so now I'm on the lookout for perhaps one more Vintage Jewelry Case for the rest?! *Winks*

And would any Treasure Hunt be complete without a Goodwill Hunting 'Score'? *Winks*

I fell in Love with this Sweet little shiny Vintage Beaded Purse!

I "Heart" Goodwill Hunting... this piece had all the buzzers and bells for Yours Truly to deem Swoon Worthy! *Smiles*

And yeah, even though I Create my own Custom Bohemian Bags... I still have a fondness for Vintage ones... especially when I can snag 'em at a smokin' Deal of a few bucks!  *LOL*

But it wasn't just Purchased Treasures I received this Memorial Day Weekend!  One of the New Dealers had told me she has a Friend who owns 15 Peacocks and Saves their shed Feathers.  She saw how infatuated with Peacocks I am and Promised to Graciously Share and bring me some of the Peacock Feathers her Friend had given her.

Now I expected perhaps just a few Beautiful Peacock Feathers...

So imagine my Surprise AND Delight when she brought in scads of them to Decorate her Booth with and gave me HALF!!!

BTW... Totally Adoring this fab Urn full of Peacock Feathers in her Booth!  She and her hard working Sons have been working so hard to Style her New Space!  So just look for all the Beautiful Peacock Feathers festooning it... that will be the one!  *Smiles*

So now I have Peacock Feathers here, there and everywhere!!!  *Insert Squeals of Delight*

The Man asked me if we'd had a Peacock Massacre?!? *LOL*  No, Great White Hunter, we most certainly did NOT, these were all Humanely shed by Living specimens that are Pets & Collected by their Owner!   I do not want the blood of any Peacock on my hands, though I will accept and am not opposed to a Taxidermy Specimen that died of Natural Causes. *Smiles*  Thank You Sweet Friend for your incredible Generosity, I'm adoring all my Peacock Feathers!!!

And finally, yet another Gift from a Co-Worker, Adam, a Lovely big Bright Yellow Enamelware Bowl... which I promptly put into Service as my Harvesting Bowl when I Harvest Produce and Herbs from my Garden...

Today it was Cherry Tomatoes, Sweet Basil, Spearmint, Peppermint and Chocolate Mint to use in a Fresh Salad...  Thank You Adam, Loving my Bowl and the Lovely Contrast of Bold Colors!

And we certainly have tons to Harvest with it before the intense Heat takes it's toll...

Everything is producing such a Bounty...

And what is so exciting is that this year's Garden wasn't planted with any Intention, Nursery Plants or Seedlings...

I allowed it to grow totally Wild, Free and Random from whatever had set Seed or grew back from last year's Garden or came from my Compost Project spoiled Produce!!!

Who knew that in such an unforgiving Fierce Climate that Nature would find a way and bestow us with such an unexpected Show Out and Bountiful Harvest with no Human intervention or assistance?

I can only take Credit for showing up to Water each day!  *LOL*  But I Loved the Jungle of Plants that grew all by themselves where ever they saw fit to bloom and flourish!

So... now you know how Awesome my Memorial Day actually was, in part... because on Sunday, The Man took Princess T and I out for a Spin 4-Wheelin' in his new UTV & Desert Treasure Hunting, while the Young Prince visited Relatives for the Holiday... but we'll leave that Grand Adventure for yet another Post!

Blessings from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
