Thursday Night was also the December Christmas Melrose Crawl up and down 7th Avenue...

Many of the Shops stayed open late and had Luminarias lighting the way and a Buffet Spread for patrons to enjoy while they did their Christmas Shopping.  The next Crawl will be January 19th... so if you missed this one, don't despair...

So I'm going to take you with us for a few Posts as we crawled Melrose... let us begin at SIRENS AND SAINTS.  I had been Jonesin' for a good Tote and had been indecisive up to this point... though there had been numerous lovely Totes at several Shops, some of which are included in this Post.

But I decided upon this one Designed and Created by my Friend Shelly, I Loved everything about it: Bold Exotic Colored Vintage Tapestry Cut Velvet... Organic Linen & Burlap... a fav Gypsy Girl Image on Canvas... Hand Made Rosette...

Soft Velvet Leopard Print Fabric in the roomy Interior, large Pocket on the front... and the perfect saying on the strap in my fav 'Bleeding Cowboy' Font: "Born To Junk"... yep... this Bag was SO ME... *Winks*  And Shelly has a great price on these Totes so they're not going to stick around for long... so get yours while there's still some left!

Here we all are at the Shop... Me, Shelly, Punky and Angela...

Angela's Son was recruited to be our Photographer... not pictured is the camera-shy BFF Tina who was on a focused Mission to find a Special Gift for a Loved One and 'scored' it next door at Shelly's Sister Shop to SIRENS AND SAINTS... RUST AND ROSES.  Even more Photos of our Adventures there at RUST AND ROSES that Evening will be in the next Post.

More gorgeous Totes... if you get this one we can look like Twins... *Winks*

I adore all of the Vintage Religious Collectibles Shelly has all throughout the Shop... for the Saintly side of a Gal...

And for the Siren Side there is plenty of Bling... Foxy Fashions and Accessories... *Winks*

And many items with a mixture of both Siren and Saint!

If you're not down with a large Tote there is a great selection of small Medicine Bag Sized ones...

And I'm definitely going to work hard in the New Year to size down to wear some of these Foxy Fashions!!!

I was ADORING this Vest Jacket in soft as butter Leather and Sheepskin-Like Fabric... OMG it not only looked amazing but the feel of it against the skin was Divine... like Chamois!!!  I so want it!!!

And yes, that great matching Rosette is part of the Jacket!!!

Like I said, during the Crawl I had been eyeballing lotsa Totes that caught my eye... so all up and down 7th Avenue several of the Shops had a great selection of them.

And I'm really liking the new Winter Color Palette of the Fashions... and the layers of lovely fabrics...
This was a maxi skirt and there were several mix and matching tops to choose from.

I wanted to load up suitcases of Fashions for my Wardrobe... but I shall wait until I'm a smaller size in 2012... *Smiles*

One of the Mannequins modeling the Tote/Jacket ensemble so I could envision how I might look... *Smiles*

Even MORE fab Totes... in large...

And small sizes...

It was difficult to pull ourselves away from SIRENS AND SAINTS... But we still had so many places to go before 9:00 pm during the Crawl... and so much more to see... and buy...

I 'scored' this amazing Vintage Peacock Feather Fan at another Shop...

I Heart Peacock Feathers... and Fans always come in handy for Desert Living! *Winks*

Both sides were gorgeous and the Shop was having 15% off during the Crawl so even though the original price was a Bargain... the Sale price made it even more so! *Whoop Whoop*

And for a mere six bucks I 'scored' this great Vintage Silver Cup with Beautiful Ornate Engraving... which looks to be in German?

The Son speaks and reads some German so I'll have to ask him what it says... if in fact it is German?

Or if one of my German Speaking Blog Friends could translate?  Or if it is a different language and you recognize it as your Native Tongue, let me know and also what it says?  I'm thinking it could be a Baby Cup?  I'm going to put Feathers in it like a small Vase... for a Vignette of coarse. *Smiles*

In the same Shop I scored the Peacock Feather Fan they had this fabulous and enormous Antique Industrial/Commercial Scale... I'm adoring the Color, its in a favorite Vintage hue of mine...

I wouldn't have a place for such a unique massive Anchor piece in my Home's decor... but if I did... this would be a killer acquisition!!!  And it has been marked down considerably...

The Shop I got the Silver Cup at had a Lovely Christmas Tree display...

And even MORE Custom Totes!!!

I was thrilled to see such a variety of what I was seeking in all the Shops so that I would have a great selection from which to choose from.

I'm also always drawn to Vintage Motel Furniture... and great Industrial & Commercial Salvage Furniture and Decor...

A great selection at all of the Shops of that Style of Decor too...

Sometimes you never find what you're looking for anywhere... and so its refreshing to find what you're looking for in abundance so that you have loads of options...

And this was certainly a Night full of options and choices... so I was in Bohemian Valhalla!!!

Next we go to PARIS ENVY... Which is another fav Shopping destination along 7th Avenue...
There was a great selection of OOAK Jewelry Creations...

Altered Art Bottles...

Furnishings and Decor... all with a Parisian Vibe...

So if you are a Francophile you're probably going to find something to feather your Nest with here!

Though there is also a touch of the Boheme'... French Gypsy Style... reminiscent of Roulotte Living...

So I'm in my Element around this Styling...

And I was Loving the Crowns... Our Lady Of Lourdes Style Madonnas...

And French Country fabrics and pieces abounding at the Shop.

And the Chandies... *Swoon*

If you're looking for great Chandies & Sconces... well, your Prayers have been answered my Friends!

Picture your French Bistro Set lit by elegant Lighting Fixtures with loads of shimmering Crystals and Beading...

From the Simple...

To the Sublime!

And everything inbetween...

And a Vase filled with Peacock Feathers is certainly the finishing touch! *Winks*

Or... go Rustic and Vintage Industrial with the great Bucket Lighting Options... I Loved this lineup of them...

The Simple mixed with the Elegant... it Works!!!

I do Hope you've enjoyed this first installment of the Christmas Melrose Crawl with us my Friends?
Come back tomorrow for Part II...

Dawn... The Bohemian
