This is such a yummy recipe. It’s the perfect combination of “sweet and sour.” It’s just right! Let me know what you think. Hope you all enjoy!!!
Ingredients:
- 1 small ziploc bag
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup of corn starch
- ½ teaspoon of garlic salt
- 5-6 chicken breasts
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup of sugar
- ½ cup of vinegar
- ¼ cup of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
Directions:
- In a small Ziploc bag put flour, corn starch, and garlic salt inside (set aside.)
- In a medium size bowl, crack eggs and mix well.
- Dip 1 piece of chicken in egg at a time and put in zip loc bag until coated. Do it with every piece of chicken and put on a skillet until the outside of the chicken in Browned (I like to put a little bit of oil in the skillet to help make it brown faster.)
- Cut chicken into bite size pieces.
- In a pot add sugar, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and salt. Heat till sugar is dissolved.
- Put chicken in a 9x11 dish and pour sauce over chicken. Cook at 325 degrees for 25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked.
· I like to serve with rice.
