Do you know what I particularly like about this Era in time?  That Styles are abounding... every conceivable look and theme is so varied that it will be very difficult I think to define this Era by any ONE look that dominated the landscape.  I Love it... that there is such variety of aesthetic to choose from... no limits... no boundaries... no restrictions.

I recall a time when that wasn't always so... when if something was wildly popular or "In" that it saturated and dominated the market and if it didn't happen to be your 'thing' you were hard pressed to find something else that spoke to your aesthetic and personal Style.

Perhaps it is because we're more traveled as a Society now and with the advancements of technology we have more worldwide exposure to the unlimited variety of Life, Culture, Style, Decor than ever before?  I grew up traveling extensively and so I was Blessed that I had exposure to a lot of Cultures and Countries besides my own and it greatly influenced my way of Life and sense of Style and Decorating.  Whatever we liked and enjoyed we just incorporated into our Home and lifestyle some kind of way.  Variety to me was always the Spice Of Life!  I celebrated the differences and distinctions and I still do.

There is still so much to explore and be exposed to and influenced by.  On my "Bucket List", at the very top, is a desire to go to Bora Bora.  Now, I'm quite certain that when I finally get there, the Tropical Vibe will move me and influence me so that when I come back Home I'll want to bring a little piece of Paradise into my daily living reminiscent of the Islands and way of Life that will evoke Memories and ambiance of that trip.  *Winks*  I've never gone with an Island Theme previously, but I'm certainly not opposed to it and what a treat it would be to bring a taste of the Tropics to the Desert.  The Home of Annelies Audureau in Bali took my breath away and was a great inspiration for the way of Tropical Living.

Remember that whatever you enjoy there are no real limits... no boundaries to expressing yourself and your own personal Style and tastes, except for what you impose upon yourself... go for it... and maybe in the process you might even try something new... after all, if you've never tried it how do you really know you don't like it? *Winks*
