Four Generations of our Family... Me, Mom (Nanna), my Son, my Grandson...
The Son took us all out for a Buffet Luncheon before he went to work... Good Son! *Winks*
However, it does grieve me that our Daughters and their Families live too far away to see especially for Mother's Day... and that The Man is away doing Seasonal Work.
But any of you who also have Families living in different parts of the Country or the World know how difficult it is to get everyone together. *Le Sigh*
Princess T is visiting her Auntie for Mother's Day this year and helping with the new Baby in the house, adorable Prince A...
Because after all... this is what being a MOM is all about!!!
For Dinner it was my treat to take my Mom to one of our fav Restaurants... THE OLD SPAGHETTI FACTORY in Phoenix...
Especially for those of us who are Junquers and Antique Enthusiasts, loving all things beautiful and old... well, this place is off the hook... housed in a Victorian Era Mansion...
Resplendant with loads of Antiquities, Salvaged Architecture, Stained Glass Windows, Victorian Lampshades, Vintage Persian Rugs, an entire Vintage Trolley, and Antique Furniture galore...
Not to mention Crystal Chandies and fabulous Antique Light Fixtures EVERYWHERE...
The food is superb... and probably part of why I'm not getting thinner very quickly *winks*...
Nanna has lost almost 40 lbs. so she ate heartily with NO guilt... *Smiles*
Yes it was a very good Mother's Day for us all...
The G-Son made me a lovely crepe paper Floral Bouquet and Vase...
And Princess T had decided that since Gramma makes custom Bags, she would make me a Paper Plate Bag filled with crepe paper Flowers she made... *How creative are these G-Kids... no brag, just fact! Winks*
Yes, being a Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma is one of my Life's Greatest Blessings... and I can hardly wait until like my Mom (Nanna) I can one day say that I am a Great-Great-Grandma too! And I Thank the Lord that He has allowed me the privilege of seeing so many generations of my Family and having my own Dear Mom on this side of Time and Eternity for 80 glorious years!
