So, what do you do when you're on a self-imposed exile from Junquing?

Why you go on a Photo Op Forray around the house of coarse... and you wish your faux Lavender sprigs were the real deal...

You look for those visuals that you enjoy daily...

Those Found Treasures and personal aesthetics that make your House a Home and are the essence of your personality and Style...

That make it MY Bohemian Valhalla...

And you give glimpses into your World... from the Fedora Collection...

To the Bohemian Bling Collection...

You re-discover those Lovelies that drew you in and captivated you the moment that you first laid eyes upon them and fell in Love...

You recall those simple pleasures like preserving some of the Roses your Sweetheart gave you on a special day...

And tucking them among other cherished objects... that tell a Story...

YOUR Story...

And you discover which ones are photogenic and ready and willing to be captured at this very moment...

And which are being temperamental and coy on this day... so will take some coaxing and editing to be Post ready...

Some will almost refuse to be captured through the eyes of your lens no matter how much coaxing and acrobatics you go through to attempt to showcase them on ANY given day... their Beauty perhaps was meant to be Private and Personal???

And you can share recent 'scores' like these simple rustic Biz Card holders I snagged at the Goodwill for a mere sixty-nine cents for four of them... Just one of those trifles you needed to attempt to become better organized... okay, I know, it's gonna take more than a set of inexpensive Biz Card Holders, but hey, it's a START! *Winks*

You can share the Vintage Art that captures your Heart and nourishes your Soul...

And those ordinary objects you use daily and yet are as pleasing to the eye for you as the more extravagant Found Treasures...

You notice things about your Home that you might overlook on a daily basis because it has become common to you and so now you fail to truly see through appreciative eyes...

And those things you failed to see through attentive eyes that needed doing *blush & a wink* like the G-Child fingerpainting on a dirty mirror and should probably be a clue that it badly needs your domestic goddess side's attention... *oops... LOL*  But in the Spirit of keeping it 'real' you decide to share anyway... dispelling any illusion that you run a tight ship... *Smiles*

You begin to see the abundant beauty in the simplicity of your days...

Those moments not often photographed, but thoroughly enjoyed... like a bowl of Fresh Strawberries and Cream... Yum!!!

And you sit back with your scrumptuous tiny pleasure and realize that Life is good... very good indeed...
Even during a self-imposed exile from one of your favorite activities...
And you revel in your Bohemian Valhalla...

Dawn... The Bohemian

The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.  ~ Hans Hofmann

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated. ~ Confucius

Simplicity is making the journey of this life with just baggage enough. ~Author Unknown

The true Indian sets no price upon either his property or his labor.  His generosity is limited only by his strength and ability.  He regards it as an honor to be selected for difficult or dangerous service and would think it shameful to ask for any reward, saying rather:  Let the person I serve express his thanks according to his own bringing up and his sense of honor.  ~ Ohiyesa of the Santee Sioux
