Sometimes I'm "On" and sometimes I'm "Off"... and therefore my creations often take time and I'm not very good with deadlines on commissioned pieces. Thankfully, those who want to commission a piece(s) are the most patient of Souls and I'm always hopeful it was worth the wait for them? The old Antique Chinese Tapestry that was the inspiration for several pieces is finally almost used up... just one more Pillow to go... it really has been fun to transform a beautiful old piece into several pieces of custom Art. I FINALLY got around to finishing Pillow Creation #1... so many distractions... so little time to devote to it... but Hsiao Hsien loved it and had so patiently waited upon it. We were able to keep Mama and Baby Panda together in the creation of a single piece, which was our intent... the back is Black Velvet. Now I can begin to create Pillow #2 out of the Tapestry's last remnants and make one last Bohemian Treasure out of a lovely old, once discarded, piece... which now has new life and will be cherished once again in it's new forms...
